Kim Brandt is Deaf and has lived in Rochester most of her life. She received her Master's degree in Deaf Education, in two secondary content areas (social studies and ASL) from the National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID) at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). She has been teaching at the ASL Program at the University of Rochester since spring 2023. She teaches the introductory ASL courses: ASL 101, ASL 102.
